The Fort Worth Chapter originally known as the West Fort Worth Chapter is one of seven chapters that make the Texas Country Western Dance Association (TCWDA). TCWDA consists of the Arlington, Greater Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, Midland/Odessa, Stockyards and the West Side Shufflers Chapters.

For  people who want to learn how to dance, love to dance or want to dance better the Fort Worth Chapter is the place to be.

Becoming a member or hanging out with Fort Worth members will introduce you to a group of dancers of varied interests. The social life of the Fort Worth Chapter is more than just dancing. Additional activities are but not restricted to road trips, swimming parties, shopping sprees (shop till you drop) and dining out. A member of another chapter once remarked "the Fort Worth Chapter should be called the Texas Country Western Dinning Association."

Some Fort Worth members are competitors in local, state and national dance contests. Qualified members teach dance for all levels.

The benefits of being a Fort Worth member are:

      Someone to dance with
      Social events
      Monthly newsletter
      Discounts at C&W nightclubs
      Discounts at many retail outlets
