The Fort Worth Chapter originally known as the West Fort Worth Chapter
is one of seven chapters that make the Texas Country Western Dance Association
(TCWDA). TCWDA consists of the Arlington, Greater Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth,
Midland/Odessa, Stockyards and the West Side Shufflers Chapters.
For people who want to learn how to dance, love to dance or
want to dance better the Fort Worth Chapter is the place to be.
Becoming a member or hanging out with Fort Worth members will introduce
you to a group of dancers of varied interests. The social life of the Fort
Worth Chapter is more than just dancing. Additional activities are but
not restricted to road trips, swimming parties, shopping sprees (shop till
you drop) and dining out. A member of another chapter once remarked "the
Fort Worth Chapter should be called the Texas Country Western Dinning Association."
Some Fort Worth members are competitors in local, state and national
dance contests. Qualified members teach dance for all levels.
